Sits well in the hand: the sporty three-spoke steering wheel in nappa leather[1] makes operation easier with its seamlessly integrated gearshift panels and haptic sensory aids. If, despite all the digitality, you’d like to go analogue again, you can shift the 8G-TRONIC manually using the optional gearshift paddles. If required, the Leather-free Package[1] gives you a completely leather-free interior, which includes the seat covers as well as the steering wheel.

Thanks to the MBUX voice control[6]system, the GLB is not only a partner who understands you on the road, but also a partner who listens to you. A \"Hey Mercedes\" is enough and you have his full attention. Control the ambient lighting or the setting of the temperature in the vehicle, for example.[2]

Driving Assistance Package
The Driving Assistance Package[1] offers maximum comfort and safety on the road to autonomous driving. One highlight is the Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, which, in combination with Active Steering Assist, can noticeably ease the strain on you in flowing and slow-moving convoy traffic.[4]
Trailer tow-bar with ESP® trailer stabilisation
Expand your transport options: With this practical equipment feature, you can hook up a trailer or caravan as well as mount a bicycle rack. The trailer hitch is ready for use in no time at all – and can be folded in behind the rear bumper just as quickly when it is no longer needed. [1]
HANDS-FREE ACCESS
HANDS-FREE ACCESS[1] opens and closes the tailgate without touching it. For this, the sensor area beneath the rear bumper detects a kicking motion with your foot. This is particularly useful when you come back from shopping loaded up with heavy bags.
THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control
THERMOTRONIC[1] controls the individual temperatures in two zones. You and your front passenger can set your preferred climate independently of one another. And you never have to readjust, because the sensitive sensors even register changes in conditions, such as sunlight.
KEYLESS-GO
Thanks to the stored access and driving authorisation, the vehicle recognises its owner. All doors can be opened and locked just by touching the door handle. Your KEYLESS-GO[1] vehicle key can simply stay in your pocket.
Heated windscreen washer system
The windscreen washer system is heated to ensure clear visibility and safe driving even in cold temperatures[1]. As a result it can help to prevent icing up which is typically experienced in winter. You can therefore benefit from the best possible cleaning of your windscreen.
Heated front seats
The seat heating [1] quickly brings the seat surfaces and backrests to a comfortable temperature in cooler weather or according to your personal preference. You select the intensity in 3 levels. After some time, the seat heating is reduced automatically.
GUARD 360° vehicle protection
GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection[6] provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example, with the extended anti-theft alarm system and tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The Mercedes-Benz collision detection function informs you via the app.[5]
Sidebags in rear
The sidebags in the rear[1] can protect the chest area of passengers on the outer rear seats in the event of a severe side impact. To achieve this, air cushions deploy between the door or the side wall trim and the vehicle occupant. Together with the standard windowbags, they can help prevent injuries or reduce their severity.
Off-Road Engineering package
The additional Off-Road drive program optimises traction, for example on snow, slush or loose surfaces. For this it adjusts the power delivery of the engine and the ABS control for light off-road terrain away from paved roads. This makes your vehicle fit for difficult surfaces.[6]
Comfort suspension
High level of comfort on long motorway stages, sporty potential when driving in curves: the comfort suspension combines appealing suspension reserves with very good driving stability. And not least, this balanced combination makes your journey safer. At the same time, it gives a lot of driving pleasure.
DYNAMIC SELECT
Drive exactly how you like to. At the touch of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different driving modes which determine the settings for the engine, transmission, suspension and steering, for example. In "Sport" mode, the vehicle is more dynamic, while in "Comfort" mode, its setup is exceptionally balanced. “ECO” focuses on efficiency, saving fuel and money.

The powerful proportions with short overhangs underline the offroad-oriented design of the Mercedes-AMG GLB. The design-emphasising surfaces and the reduced lines convey sportiness and modernity.
