[10] This Digital extras is available for vehicles with the MBUX multimedia system. To use the service, you must have a corresponding account with the respective streaming provider. The connection of the communication module to the mobile network, including the emergency call system, depends on the respective network coverage and availability of the network providers. The optionally available head-up display[1] makes your driving experience more comfortable and safer at the same time: status information and instructions are projected onto the windscreen and thus directly into your field of vision. This enables you to remain fully focused on the road ahead at all times, without missing important information.
MBUX Hyperscreen
The optionally available MBUX Hyperscreen[1] transforms the interior into an impressive high-tech command centre. Three brilliant displays visually merge under a single glass cover to form a single high-resolution user interface that extends across the entire width of the dashboard.
Ambient lighting
With a total of 64 colours, the ambient lighting [1]with indirect illumination provides the right light setting for you in almost any situation. In the 10 colour themes, the colours can also alternate spectacularly. The brightness of the LEDs can also be adjusted variably: It can be adjusted in 5 steps and 3 dimming zones.
Floating center console
The floating center console and the high seating position ensure a generous feeling of space, making the EQE SUV one of the most spacious models in its class. Traffic Sign Assist
Keeping an eye out: thanks to intelligent linking of camera and map data, Traffic Sign Assist[1] is not only able to detect maximum permissible speeds, overtaking restrictions and the lifting of these restrictions. It is also able to respond to red traffic lights, stop signs and no-entry restrictions and warn you to prevent you from inadvertently driving through a stop sign or no-entry sign.[2]
Driving Assistance Plus Package
Arrive at your destination relaxed and safe: thanks to modern, intelligently networked sensor systems, you enjoy a high degree of stress relief. Numerous assistants can support you according to the situation, warn in the event of a risk of collision and intervene when needed.[1][2]
ECO Assist
ECO Assist supports anticipatory driving and indicates when the foot should be taken off the accelerator pedal. The analysis can, e.g. consider vehicles driving ahead or speed limits, and whether coasting or recuperation is more appropriate in the situation.[2]
ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus with HEPA filter
A must, not only for allergy sufferers: a HEPA filter effectively reduces air pollution. ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus[1] also monitors the air quality both inside and outside the vehicle and shows you the result in MBUX. Depending on the value measured, your Mercedes switches automatically between fresh air and air recirculation mode.

Active Parking Assist with 360° camera[1] detects available parking spaces and marked parking areas as you approach them. After selecting an available parking space, you can park confidently thanks to dynamic visualisation and acoustic feedback – or have the vehicle manoeuvre into the space with assisted parking.[3]
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC[1] relieves you in moving and stop-and-go traffic by automatically regulating the distance to slower vehicles in front. The desired distance can be adjusted in increments.[2]
Active Lane Keeping Assist
Active Lane Keeping Assist[1][9] can steer you back into your lane if you unintentionally leave it or come dangerously close to other road users. If you leave the lane nevertheless, an additional warning follows in the form of steering wheel vibrations.[2]
PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side
PRE-SAFE® Impulse Side[1] can prepare the driver and front passenger for an impending side impact with a lateral impulse, thus reducing the risk of injury. The system can move the front occupants from the side facing the accident towards the centre of the vehicle.[2]
GUARD 360° vehicle protection with Digital Extras
GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection[1] provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example, with the anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The Mercedes-Benz collision detection function informs you via the app.[7]
Rear-axle steering
The rear axle steering[1] up to 10° steering angle adjustment offers advantages such as superior roadholding, increased agility resulting in a minimised turning circle of 10.5 m and better manoeuvrability – for example, when parking. Depending on the speed, the rear wheels steer in the opposite or same direction as the front wheels.
AIRMATIC
The AIRMATIC[1] air suspension offers an outstanding ride even over arduous terrain. The vehicle level varies in line with the speed. This can increase the range when driving fast. Practical: automatic level control according to load. At the touch of a button, you can also extend the ground clearance by up to 25 mm.
4MATIC all-wheel drive
4MATIC all-wheel drive ensures dynamic driving pleasure and superior handling characteristics even on unpaved surfaces. The system improves traction and driving stability - for extra safety even in wet, snowy and icy conditions.
Offroad Track
Offroad Track shows you exceptional off-road routes to follow near you. You can also create your own routes and share them with other users directly from the vehicle. While driving, you can record films and capture your experiences with both the Mercedes-Benz Stories app and the dashcam. [1]
OFFROAD COCKPIT
In the "Discover" Offroad Track tab of the OFFROAD COCKPIT[1] in your vehicle you will find a number of routes near you. You can download these and follow them. Locally saved routes can be found in the "Routes" tab. To determine your position as accurately as possible, Offroad Track uses the GPS data of your vehicle. The Mercedes-Benz Stories App extends the vehicle functions with a range of options for capturing and sharing your experiences.
Transparent bonnet
Navigate confidently and avoid obstacles safely, even when offroad. This feature makes the bonnet transparent, providing a virtual view calculated from camera images that shows the area underneath the bonnet of your Mercedes.
