The sporty steering wheel [1] becomes the control centre. Various navigation or entertainment functions can be operated using the control elements. You can also adjust the Cruise Control or Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC [3] here, for convenient driving in traffic. Finished in ARTICO man-made leather, the steering wheel is available in combination with other leather-free seat covers as part of the leather-free Package. [4]

Parking package with 360° camera
Park and manoeuvre confidently and conveniently: the 360-degree camera provides you with all-round visibility and a bird's-eye view. This allows you to confidently tackle narrow, awkward and complex parking situations. Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC supports you in searching for a parking space, as well as in entering and exiting a bay parking space. [1] [3]
GUARD 360° vehicle protection
GUARD 360° Vehicle Protection [1] provides all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings with features such as the anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audio warnings. The collision detection function of Mercedes-Benz keeps you informed via the app.
Adaptive Highbeam Assist
Activate the system once and continually benefit from the long headlamp range. Whenever Adaptive Highbeam Assist [1] does not register any vehicles in front of you or any oncoming traffic, it switches on the high beam. This means that you can see the roadway or any hazards more clearly. Furthermore, there is no need for you to keep switching between high beam and dipped beam. [3]
Active Steer Assist
Active Steer Assist [1] offers you a noticeable increase in comfort at the wheel: the system can help you to keep your vehicle in the centre of the lane by means of gentle steering interventions. Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
The Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC [1] takes a lot of work off your hands and automatically controls the distance from the vehicle in front. The route-based speed adjustment also significantly extends the range of applications. If the vehicle is approaching a bend, for example, the system reduces the vehicle speed as a proactive measure and then automatically accelerates to the speed set by you once you've navigated the bend and ensuring a sufficient distance to the driver in front. [4]
Speed Limit Assist
Speed Limit Assist makes it easy for you to follow the rules and avoid unnecessary speeding tickets. The system shows what is permitted: it uses the camera to detect the current speed limit and displays it in the driver display. It also detects additional restriction signs in specific weather situations such as wet conditions. [3]
Active Brake Assist
This assistant can help to avoid collisions with vehicles driving in front or stationary vehicles, with oncoming traffic when making a turn and with moving pedestrians as well as cyclists. Along with distance and collision warnings, the system primarily offers situation-appropriate braking assistance, including performing an emergency stop if necessary. [3]
Active Lane Keeping Assist
Active Lane Keeping Assist is an attentive observer: if you unintentionally leave your lane or get dangerously close to other road users, the system can bring you back into your lane by means of a steering intervention. If you still leave the lane, however, an additional warning will follow in the form of a steering wheel vibration. [3]


Blind Spot Assist
Blind Spot Assist [1] takes a very close look around for you – in particular when you activate the turn indicator. The system is able to give you a visual and audible warning of potential side collisions with other road users in your blind spot. After your trip, the system remains alert and warns you if you’re about to open the door at the wrong time. [3]
Trailer hitch with ESP® trailer stabilisation
Expand your transport options: With this practical equipment feature, you can hook up a trailer or caravan or fit a bicycle rack. The trailer hitch [1] is ready for use in no time at all – and can be folded in behind the rear bumper just as quickly when it is no longer needed.
DYNAMIC SELECT
Driving exactly how you like it. With DYNAMIC SELECT, you can activate the energy-efficient drive programme "ECO" at the touch of a button and thereby extend your range. The steering wheel shift paddles can also be used to adjust the recuperation of braking energy. Sport mode, on the other hand, makes the terrific power of the electric motors available for an even more lively performance.
Run flat tyres
You can stay mobile even when you lose pressure in one or more tyres. Thanks to the reinforced sidewalls of your tyres, you can safely leave danger zones such as tunnels or motorways and drive to the nearest workshop. Depending on the load, it is possible to drive a distance of up to 80 kilometres at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. [1]
4MATIC all-wheel drive
The fully variable 4MATIC all-wheel drive [1] ensures superior driving characteristics even in difficult road conditions. The system improves the vehicle's traction and driving stability for added safety.
Advanced Package
The Advanced Package [1] adds useful extras to your vehicle. As soon as you enter, illuminated door sill panels show the way to the high-quality interior. Furthermore, with the Mirror Package and the Parking Package with reversing camera, you can maintain an overview of everything even in stressful situations.
Advanced Plus Package
In addition to the Advanced Package, you also receive the KEYLESS-GO Convenience Package, for example. During the journey, you will be entertained by the powerful Advanced Sound System. You can charge your smartphone wirelessly.
Premium Package
Raise your vehicle to a top equipment level - in addition to the contents of the Advanced and Advanced Plus Packages. Battery
The high-voltage lithium-ion battery is the central energy storage unit for the electric drive system of the EQA. Its high power density provides a usable energy content of up to 70.5 kWh. High charging speeds enable the AC charging system with up to 11 kW and the DC charging system with up to 100 kW charging power.
