[7] The following Digital Extras are also required for the DRIVE PILOT to function: Intelligent Drive Online Service and Live Traffic Information with Car-to-X communication. These services can be used free of charge for 3 years from activation. Upon expiry of this initial term, the services can be renewed for a fee, provided they are then still offered for the corresponding vehicle. Use requires registration in the Customer profile on Mercedes-Benz website, agreement to the Digital Extras Terms of Use and pairing of the respective vehicle to the user account. First-time activation of the services is possible within 1 year as from initial registration or operation by the customer, whichever comes first.
[8] Conditionally automated driving (SAE Level 3): the automated driving function takes over certain tasks. A driver however is still needed. The driver must be ready to take control of the vehicle at any time when prompted by the vehicle to intervene. The availability and use of DRIVE PILOT functions on motorways depend on options, countries and applicable laws.

MBUX Interior Assistant
The MBUX Interior Assistant[1][3] supports operation by responding to body movements. If it detects hand movements towards the doors, it interprets this as a desire to exit and warns you in the case of a detected collision risk. The direction of your head movement indicates which exterior mirror you want to adjust. In addition, you can control features such as the lighting functions with natural hand movements.[4]
MBUX augmented reality Head-up Display
This head-up display projects visual information into your field of vision without distracting you. For example, large direction arrows float above a junction where you need to make a turn. You immediately know what needs to be done.[1]
MBUX Entertainment
Enjoy your favourite music in your vehicle easily with MBUX Entertainment[5]: music streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music or TIDAL (user account required) are available.[1]
Digital Extras
Right from the start, your Mercedes-Benz has more to offer than you might at first realise. Depending on your vehicle model, the special equipment you have chosen, the year of manufacture and the country, many Digital Extras for topics such as remote, navigation, charging, GUARD 360° vehicle protection and entertainment are included for a term of 36 months from the date of purchase of the new vehicle[3]. If you would like to buy the Digital Extras for the first time or continue to benefit from the advantages of the Digital Extras after this period has expired, you can do this with just a few clicks in the Mercedes- Benz Store.
Wireless charging
Charge compatible mobile phones conveniently and wirelessly in the rear passenger compartment. The stowage compartment between the two seats is also an inductive charging surface. All mobile devices that use the Qi standard are supported.
Zero layer
Proactive user interface with zero layer: the newly developed MBUX main view learns the driver's usage behaviour. This means that almost 80 per cent of input requests can be made directly on the home screen - without having to switch to submenus
Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC
The system can recognise suitable and available parking spaces and helps you to drive or reverse into end-on parking spaces by taking over the steering for you. PARKTRONIC parking assist[1] also monitors the surroundings when manoeuvring, for example in multi-story car parks. As part of this, the system provides visual and audio warnings of detected obstacles so you can avoid annoying and potentially expensive damage[6].
Traffic Sign Assist
Traffic Sign Assist[1] can recognise speed limits, overtaking bans and their cancellation. It can also react to red traffic lights, stop signs and no-entry restrictions and warn you of inadvertently driving through a stop sign or no-entry sign. With intelligently linked camera and map data, the system keeps you oriented[6].
Driving Assistance Package Plus with Automatic Lane Change
Enjoy the benefits of partially automated driving. Systems such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC or Active Blind Spot Assist can support you in the right situation, warn you if there is a risk of collision and intervene if necessary. The intelligently networked sensor system uses cameras, radar and ultrasound to register your vehicle's surroundings. Setting turn signal indicators, changing lane and regulating speed: Automatic Lane Change does all this for you when changing lanes on motorway-like roads.[1][6]
Parking Package with 360° camera
Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC and 360° camera detects free parking spaces and marked parking spaces as you drive past. After selecting a parking space, you can park with confidence thanks to dynamic visualisation and acoustic feedback - or have it assisted.[1][6]
Parking Package with Remote Parking functions
This allows you to climb in and out of the vehicle easily outside the parking space – the system automatically manoeuvres your vehicle into the space and back out again. You monitor the parking procedure from the outside and can control it via smartphone. This makes parking much more relaxed and prevents minor damage when opening the door.[1] Moreover, with just one memory operation, the Memory Parking Assistant[1] remembers the route to and from your regular parking space automatically.[6]
Driving Assistance Package with DRIVE PILOT
Experience the fascination of conditionally automated driving: DRIVE PILOT can temporarily take over the driving task for you on motorways at speeds of up to 95 km/h when driving behind a suitable vehicle. Other assistance systems for partially automated driving can help you reach your destination in a relaxed manner and a variety of ways.[1][7][8]

A HEPA filter effectively helps to reduce air pollution. In addition, the ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL Plus[1] monitors the air quality both inside and outside the vehicle and shows you the result in MBUX. Burmester® 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos®

GUARD 360° vehicle protection
GUARD 360° vehicle protection[1] offers all-round monitoring of the vehicle's surroundings - for example with the anti-theft alarm system with tow-away protection. Movements in the interior trigger visual and audible warnings. The collision detection function of Mercedes-Benz informs you via the app.[10]
Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC
This assistance system maintains the desired speed previously set and also regulates the distance. If you as the driver need to intervene, a visual and acoustic warning signal is given. The intelligent functions can relieve you of strain and have a positive effect on the electric range.[1][6]
Mirror Package
The Mirror Package makes easier work of everyday motoring: electronic folding wing mirrors protect your vehicle from annoying damage when parked. In addition, getting in and out of the vehicle in the dark is more convenient with the surround lighting.
AIRMATIC
The AIRMATIC air suspension provides an outstanding ride even over difficult ground. The ground clearance of the vehicle varies in line with the speed. This can increase the range when driving at speed. Automatic level control according to the vehicle weight.
4MATIC all-wheel drive
An electric motor both at the front axle and rear axle convert electrical energy into mechanical energy, and deliver impressive acceleration. The operating strategy of the drive system components provides the power at all times wherever it is needed – efficiently and in virtual silence.[1]
Rear-axle steering
The rear-axle steering with 4.5° offers you three advantages at once: superior roadholding, significantly increased agility and better manoeuvrability resulting in a minimised turning circle of 11.9 m. With a 10° steering angle adjustment, you can even achieve a turning circle of 10.9m.[1]
55.9 cm (22-inch) 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels
